As musicians and artists, we want to provide people access to new ideas through our work. We want to support the work of local antifascist organizing and mutual aid networks, new and alternative community spaces, established spaces, and spaces working to make changes to their policy or practices. As abolitionists, we believe no one is disposable. We believe in the power of boycott, and if we choose to play in a space where we are not 100% politically aligned, it is likely because we are in conversation and see them moving toward normalizing liberatory politics. And because physical access needs can be so different for every body, we aspire to play in a variety of spaces and contexts to allow for as many forms of access as possible. Through creativity and connection with others, we believe that unexpected things are possible.

A few things to note: We can play with or without a sound system. In larger or louder spaces, we prefer to be mic’d. Please refer to our stage plot and input list. Our shows are intimate, with audience interaction; Our songs are love letters to diaspora. We love to dance, but are not a dance band, or suited for ambient background music.
